Installing gpEasy normally only requires supplying a username and password. On some servers, you may need to change the permissions of the /data directory. -
Once you have gpEasy installed, your home page will include some filler content. Click the "Login" link at the bottom of the page to continue. -
Enter the username and password you chose during the install process. -
Once logged in, you will be taken to the primary admin page. This page gives you links to the major administration scripts in the CMS. You can also access these via the "Admin" drop down menu in the toolbar. -
Move your cursor to the left side of the page to show the editable area bar. Each page will have it's own editable areas that are indicated in order on this vertical toolbar. Hovering over a label will outline the editable area on the page. -
Editing is all accomplished within your current theme. To edit an area, you can also move your mouse cursor over it and click the "Edit" link that appears. -
Your "File Manager" allows you to arrange all of your titles. Drag 'n Drop, Rename, Delete and Hide pages to arrange your site. -
Files can be uploaded and arranged while image thumbnails are created for easy browsing.
